Amid the intense ongoing row over the entry of women, Kerala's Sabarimala temple will close its gates for visitors on Monday, at the end of the monthly puja.
ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಶಬರಿಮಲೆಯ ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಇದ್ದ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧವನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅ. 17 ರಂದು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆದಿತ್ತು.
